I have a 2 year old daughter. My hubby(25years old) and I (23years old) have been trying to have baby #2. I get pregnant easily but just cant seem to stay pregnant.. i had 2 miscarriages this year one at 10 weeks (jan 18 2011) and just had another one at 6 weeks (dec 1, 2011). My doctor is going to refer my to a fertility specialist to try and figure out why this keeps happening exspecially since i was able to have a baby before. So what im wondering is has anyone else had this problem? Did you figure out what was causing it? (such as hormone imbalance, blood clotting problems ect?) Im not going to give up hope but i am trying very hard to figure out the problem is so i dont have anymore miscarriages. thx

i had 3 miscarrages within 5 months, a month after my last one i found out i was pregnant with my 2nd, i hemorrhaged at 5weeks and thought i lost the baby,.. only to find out 3 weeks later that i was still pregnant and she is now a healthy beautiful 4month old! keep trying, it will all work out, i know its very hard to go through!

A good friend of mine had many miscarriages (I think about 10) all before 12 weeks. Her and her Husband decided that they wouldn't keep trying and he booked in for a vasectomy. The night before he had it done they had fun. She was feeling sick (flu like symptoms) for about 4 weeks so went to the doctor. She was absolutely stunned that she was pregnant but thought she would miscarry again.
Well she didn't and they have a gorgeous 12yo girl. They never found out why she miscarried all the others but they are so glad they ended up with their daughter.

I got pregnant w/ identical twins the very first month we started trying. Because of how easily they were conceived... after they were born I went on the depo shot for 2.5 years. Then switched back to bcp for 6 months to start getting the depo out of my system... but not quite ready to start trying to conceive again. I went off of all birth control on May 1, 2005. I had a super early miscarriage (4.5 weeks) at the end of January 2006 and another early miscarriage (baby died at 6ish weeks) at the end of January 2007. My son was born at the end of March 2008. If I had had a third miscarriage they would've tried to figure out the causes, but I only had the two of them.

I know how hard it is to go through that. Good luck!!

I had two consecutive miscarriages before I became pregnant with my youngest. One was a 13 week miscarriage, another a 6 week miscarriage, both within 4 months of each other. After the second one, I decided I would just leave it go for 6 months or so before trying again, just to give my body a break and myself some time to grieve (because I wasn't coping with the losses particularly well) but I ended up falling pregnant again immediately, so quickly in fact that I never even got my period back after my second miscarriage.

As you can imagine, I was SUPER careful with the new pregnancy, quit my job, rested, destressed myself as much as possible, ate well, and just generally focused on my well-being. But realistically, I was a 35 year old woman, my chances of miscarriage were higher than the average, so I know my miscarriages were probably just meant that the baby would not be viable. It doesn't make it any easier knowing that though.

My OB indicated to me that there was no need yet to find out what was causing it, because in someone my age it was pretty common. He did, however, suggest that if it happened again, we would need to look at more testing.
