has any1's baby ever been diagnosed with hirschsprungs disease

my newborn son was said to hav it at 30 weeks pregnant in the womb wen he was born he was taken 2 intensive n didnt go 2 da toliet 4 48 hours,they told me he cant b properly diagnosed until 8 months but now he is constantly either constipated or he has gastric it is so hard not knwin i wanted 2 see if any other parents had any chn wit it

Wow, no, but I was just googling that yesterday. My son is constantly constipated. I don't think he has this, as before we went to solids, he was regular and fine...but since we started food, he's on lactulose and I constantly have to "help" him poop. Does one of your children have it? How old were they when they were diagnosed? What's the treatment going to be?
Laura..got this from google "In children with Hirschsprung's disease, a lack of nerve cells in part of the intestine interrupts the signal from the brain and prevents peristalsis in that segment of the intestine. Because stool cannot move forward normally, the intestine can become partially or completely obstructed (blocked), and begins to expand to a larger than normal size."
