My husband and I are trying to conceive. I have been tracking my cycle with an ovulation calendar and ovulation tests. I know when I ovulated and we had sex before and during ovulation. I am due for my period the 4th but for the past week I have had no PMS symptoms (i usually get crampy and spot.) and have been deathly tired all the time.
This morning I took a first response pregnancy test (the one where one line means you aren't and two lines means you are pregnant.) After the directed time, the result was two lines, though the second line was very faint. It was definitely there but faint. I figure I would only be about a week along and I spoke to a nurse who said that is more than likely a positive result. And that it would be too early for me to have any of the other symptoms of pregnancy or for that line to be very dark. (I wouldn't be producing enough of the HcG hormone for it to be really vivid. )I plan on retesting either Saturday or Sunday.
What is your guys' opinion? Would you take that result to mean you're pregnant? Have you actually had that same kind of result when you yourself were pregnant? Thanks in advance for your insight.
