Has anyone got advice about my little boy

My son tommy is six years old. Since I can remember things have been hard. He started having an issue with his clothing from about the age of two he seemed to get frustrated at anything touching his chest, hated anything zipped up or any tops with hoods and hates wearing his coat. He is still the same now at six and his teacher said he is constantly pulling at his clothing at school.

He also gets frustrated at the slightest things if he cant find his shoes or he gets something wrong or if he does not win on his computer game and lots more things his reaction is always over the top.

Everything hurts tommy when I used to dress Tom he would say I was hurting him. Him and his sister fight terrible together when I tell them both off and explain what they are doing wrong tommy can not listen to what I say he just flips out and either throws something or hits something, this is not just when fighting with his sister this is whenever I tell him no he can't have something or he can't do something. Things were that bad the other day that when I explained to his sister and to him that they can't fight anymore because it scares the baby tommy went into the kitchen took a knife out the draw and put it to his head and said I'm going to kill myself everybody hates me. Obvisouly this scared me to death.

Tommy is doing well in school and is very good academically but it's so confusing he seems so unhappy sometimes but so happy and loud sometimes I've taken him to my gp and he is waiting for an appointment is their something wrong with my son how can I help him or learn to understand him. Or is he just naughty? Help!!!!!

You seem to have your hands full :-( I don't have any answers but I thought I would say hi and that I could be here if you need someone to talk to :-) if I'm honest tommy sounds a bit like my nephew. He is 19 now but I remember him being very similar to tommy. He was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 3 or 4. Hope this helps even a little. Have you tried the naughty step? It works with my younger kids.
