When I got pregnant with my 3rd child I was told I had a small vaginal prolapse and that it could be repaired after my baby was born and I had stopped breastfeeding. At my 6wk postpartum appointment we discussed the need for surgery again. A few weeks ago I noticed that whenever I bent over or coughed that I would have an accident. My doctor took a look and said I need everything put back. She has me on a list for her colleague to see me because my doctor doesn't do all the repairs needed. Instead of having 2 surgeries I could have it all done at once. Has anyone required this type of surgery and if so what can I expect?
