My 32mth old daughter has started to repeat her words in the last week. I don't think its a stutter..... She'll say s/thing like: "my my my my bag" or where where where is my bag". And not everytime she speaks either. Her maternal grandfather thinks he read somewhere that this could indicate a hearing problem. Missing her own voice saying the first word the first time round. We haven't made an issue out of it to her, we've just ignored it so far. Has anyone else experienced this with their children? Did they just grow out of it? She's only really been talking in sentences for the last couple of months. Are we overeacting?

No, you are not over-reacting. You are being a good mother. I doubt there is a problem. Most children who stutter will repeat the first sound of a word. But, it is better to be sure. Get her checked out just to make sure there is no problem. If nothing else it will put your mind at ease. Children this age often play with sound and words, especially unusually bright children. It might be nothing more than that. However, it is best to get it checked out. Best of luck to you.
