Has anyone sought help for their overweight or obese child?

Has anyone sought help for their overweight or obese child (at any age)? If so, what services did you get? Did you have trouble getting services? Did health insurance pay for it? Thank you so much for any assistance.

honestly the best thing for you to do for your kid is make healthy meal choices, do not supply junk food in the house, make their lunches with healthy food choices and keep them in active sports. My lunch for my kids is a peanut butter banana sandwhich and either an apple or some grapes, an orange (for vitamin C) and a low fat or non fat yogurt, and a bottle of water. If the child likes milk skim milk is the ONLY milk you should buy, unless they are under the age of 3 they do not need the fat in the milk. for breakfast a hard boiled egg and a bowl of oatmeal and an apple or and orange is a great choice, again with either skim milk or water to drink. dinner time whole grain pasta lean meats and plenty of veggies.
