Has your child ever "seen things" or displayed psychic abilities at a young age?

When my son was about 2yrs old we were in his bedroom and he would say there is a white man in his room - he used to laugh and talk to him it never bothered him and as he got older this went away. Also when I was single and my son was 2 1/2 yrs he randomely told me and my father that "simon" was coming to his house and he was going to play with him and chase him around the house. Sure enough my now husband Simon did this indeed about 6 months later after him saying this. Since then he seems to have lost this ability but it was eerie. Just wondering if anyone else has encountered this?

My name is Dana. My daughter Jaelin is 13.she has talked aboutspirits since she was a toddler. When she hit 10 it got really extreme. She is currently seeing a therapist and psychiatrist and is on some heavy meds to help with what they call hallucinations. It tends to work for a while but then the hearing and seeing things returns. Im at a total loss. She can clearly hear and see spirits and it terrifies her. Ive done alot of research on mental illnesses and some of the symptoms fit but others dont. She knows the difference between fantasy and reality which makes me think its not a mental illness. I dont know what to think or how to help my child. If anyone has any helpful advice please messGe me.

I need help... My 9 year old just confessed to me that he's been hearing people calling him .. And when he turns no one is there .. Also that when he's alone in school (bathroom) he hears people yelling .. Not at him but at som other person .. And he's all alone in the room .. He told me crying he's afraid . And I'm even more afraid .. He also told me that one time he was falling asleep and someone pulled off he's blanket and blew or whispered in he's ear .. I have taken some pictures of him and I seen some orbs . At the time I was thinking maybe a guardian angel .. But now I'm just scared .. I asked more questions to better understand what's happening . He just said he's afraid . I don't really know what to do or who to call for help .. I my self have seen ghost through out my life .. I have had my blanket pulled as well as him. And I have seen things that haven't but later happen. But never hav I heard people screaming in rage or calling my name .. Can someone please let me know if what I have has passed on to him ? I have 2 boys but my oldest is the one who is experience all the activities .. He's also asked me if he's school was a cemetery about 100 years ago.. I had no clue n tried to search online but didn't find anything... At this point I'm just tearing up to just see my sons fear as he explains what he hears n has feared when ever he's alone ... Any help will be so appreciated .

I had a horrible dream about a man breaking in our home and chasing me with a gun. The nightmare was so severe, I woke up at 4 in the morning. About 15 minutes later, my 3 year old daughter came into my room and said, ""Mommy, that was a scary man, trying to shoot you. He wanted you gone!

I think it's true, some people have a gift of sight, I was one of those kids myself and my mother never belittled me nor told me it wasn't true, she taught me to pray and send away the bad things instead. I never chose to ignore it or train myself to block it....although as an adult it is very easy to block, and sometimes more comfortable :). I have baby-sat nieces that saw angels, and told us things before they happend, and two friends sons (different friends) that saw things too, but their parents always said there was nothing, and it was their imagination, that dosent make them not see it, it just scared them more. I teach them to pray when it happens and never hear anything about it again, except sometimes they'll tell a funny story about an angel. I find it is more pronounced for me now that I am pregnant, has anyone else noticed that? And I am not really sure why, any ideas?

I think it's just a coincidence. There is absolutely no physical proof of psychic abilities. Studies have shown it's all fake. 6 months after an "event" isn't exactly a short amount of time. Kids are known to have imaginary friends and will often talk to them as if they are real. This ability later becomes what we're all familiar with: daydreaming.

Ok here is my story. My husband and I were going to drive about an hour to go visit an uncle of his. As we were getting into the car my 3 yr old started talking about us going to the zoo. Both my husband and I just looked at each other and told her no we were going to go see Uncle Jaime...well this was the first time either of us had gone to his house, when we got off the exit there were signs everywhere for the Cleveland Zoo...His uncle lived right around the corner from it.

Fast forward 3 months....My husband went away to a school for a month. It was only 3 hours away so mid way through he came home for the weekend. Well that next Monday my 3 yr old looks at me and says...Mommy and Isabel and Baby sister and Baby! I looked at her and said what baby..she says the one in your belly, right there! I said NO there is no baby in Mommy's belly. Lo and behold 2 1/2 weeks later I take a pregnancy test and it is positive....

A couple of days after I took the pregnancy test I asked her if she was going to have another baby sister or a baby brother? She looked at me and said...UMMMMM Baby brother. She held true to that every time I would ask her. Well at my 16 week appt I was told that I was for sure having a little boy! You tell me...

Hi there,

Just before my Dad passed away in November 2008 my three year old would say how there were monsters in his bedroom- he wasn't particularly scared he just said they were there. Anyway after my Dad died Joseph would say that -Grandad was in his room instead of the monsters and how he was looking after him. And the monsters had now gone because Grandad was there instead. The other thing is that when me,my sister, my mum and my partner and Joseph went to clean out dads house (which is about 50mins away) he was in the back of my mums car and said about how we were going to Grandad's house. He couldn't have known this as we were all very silent on the journey and as my Mum and Dad had divorced years earlier she had never driven Joseph to see my Dad. So this was some kind of sixth sense. I've always believed that babies can see angels both mine certainly have (smiling at corners, chatting away etc.etc.) Even now Joseph seems to know when my Dad is on my mind and asks about his grave and heaven and things. Which I'm buying a book on as I am not very good at explaining it to a now four year old. In a way that is simple enough for him to understand.

I believe it is a gift from God and that in someway God wants to communicate with everyone. Children are much more open to the spirit realm, before they grow up and their mind takes over. Thats why the Bible says that we must believe as a little child. Many adults still see and hear (and are normal)
Psychologists just refer to it as an imaginary friend, however, I disagree with that personally. Either way, as an earlier post said, if its not fearful, its okay.

kids are more sensitive to these types of things, its not unusual for a child to see spirits. Some grow out of it and some dont. I wouldn't be too concerned as long as your children weren't frightened then they'll be ok.

My son is 10 months old and his twin brother died at 2 days old. He always looks in certain spots and smiles and laughs. I always wondered if he could see his brother so I went to a psychic and she actually told me that my son has the gift of vision and he can see things we can't. She told me that he sees his brother and he will talk to him as he gets older.

My friends 2 1/2 year old came into her room on a Tuesday night and said "Where is Grandpa going? He said goodbye". My friend told him that Grandpa was at home in his room at his home. She said it was odd only because her Father in Law never said goodbye but "see you later". We were talking on the phone so she mentioned it. They found out the next morning that he had passed away.
