Has your child started rolling/stretching his neck? Habit or sign of something?

My 6 year old son started rolling his neck and complaining about it hurting. Doesn't have a fever just a small cold. No injuries that we know of. Not sure if it's an issue or a learned behavior. Any thoughts or experience with this happening with your children?

You could take him to a chiropractor and see if that helps.

I do know of a friend who's son was diagnosed with Tourett's syndrome and it was noticed because he started continually rolling and stretching his neck. I would definitely look into it and rule some stuff out.

Went to the doctor today and confirmed nothing physical happening - believe it's more of a temporary habit picked up since returning to school - may be stress related (go Gwen!) which makes sense. We're just keeping a journal to gauge if it increases or decreases over the next few weeks. Thanks for your input.
