have a 7.5 month baby whom i was feeding purees after 6 months of exclusive breastfeeding. He took it nicely but after around 20 days i found that he was refusing these purees and i could not do anything. Then i came across BLW approach and have started it around a week's time. Sometimes i feed him mysely and sometimes let him feed himself. Is it worthy to combine both spoon feeding and BLW approach. Has it any success or should i let my baby feed on his own. I am doubtful if he will have any or plainly play with the food. I am still breastfeeding him and hope to do so until he is 1 year old. Kindly do help and advice.

What is BLW approach?

Generally, solid foods under a year are considered practice anyhow. If you are continuing to BF, that is where he should be getting most of his nutritional needs from, so basically whatever he eats right now is just practice. No big deal if he is not that into it.
