I have a daughter who is 9 1/2 months, and we are moving into a single family home, and my parents are moving in, to help with some things. My husband and I have talked about haveing a second child. I have the IUD Mirena, and I made an appointment to get it taken out this week. Does anybody think it's to early to even think about having a second baby??

not too early at all, our 2 will be 17.5mths apart when this little one is born in 8wks.
If you both feel you are ready for a 2nd one then go for it. Some will recommend waiting, others will say do it. Whenever you and hubby are wanting it, that's the perfect time :-)

I would definitely sit down and think long and hard if you are ready to add more stress. My daughters are 19 months apart and while I never regret having my 2nd baby, it was a hard time. The same week we found out we were pregnant, my husband and I both were laid off of our jobs. It was a stressful pregnancy and first year... It's nice when they are this close because they can really wear each other out. However, it is tough having 2 in diapers. Just make sure you are ready, ok? Good luck to you!

my daughter was 8 months old when i first got pregnant with my 2nd baby. Just be sure your not taking on too much with the move and your parents moving in. And its your and your husband choice to have a 2nd baby and if you are ready to add a 2nd baby in the mix. But just remember that everyone will have an opinion but it will be completely up to you if you all want a 2nd baby. Good luck

Thank you everyone for the advice. I will sit and think about what all of you have told me, and I will make my decision.
