I was 4 1/2 months pregnant with my son. Due to my ex husband I didn't give birth. I started to see the changes. I feel so blessed. I have been taking fenugreek and blessed thistle for 24 hours. When will I see milk? I am hand manually and electric breast pump.

And if someone is having random people come and suck on their breasts I would say they are a bit off as well....

lol Well... on what planet is wanting to produce milk when you have no baby to feed NOT a bizarre thing? Certainly not here on planet Earth. Breast milk is absolutely a wonderful substance and does have good uses... but to decide you need to start producing breast milk 10 years after you have lost a baby is NOT the sign of a mentally healthy individual. It just isn't... no matter what you think. You really aren't the best person to judge your own mental health.

So interested in all your answers. I do not have a mental problem. For a fact. I wanted to know how if anyone out there could help or have an answer. My man and I want this.

If you lost a pregnancy 10 yearrs ago, you should not be able to lactate now. What purpose does it serve? You don't need the milk, you could not donate it to a milk bank based on your mental status....I do not understand this at all.

What do you feel producing milk will do for you?
All I can say is that unless you had given birth, the chances of actually being able to is very low. You also have no idea how painful it can be.

I would recommend seeking therapy over producing milk for yourself. It does not seem like an emotionally stable thing for you to be doing.

It has been over 10 yrs. This is what I want and for myself. I have grieved my son. The ex is the ex. He has nothing to do with what I want in my life anymore.

IMO this is not a healthy way to grieve your loss. To perpetuate lactating or a continuation of the pregnancy just helps you deny what happened. If, your ex harmed you so severely that you lost a child, he'd be in jail.

Yes I want to make milk for myself and may drink it. I didn't have the any rights. I didn't make any milk at that time.

So, you lost your child and now you want to make milk for yourself to consume?

Thank you so much for responding to me. The ex physically and mental abused me. I didn't get to carry him. What I'm asking is for myself. I want to lactate, I want milk to come in for me!! Nobody else. I have desired this and I have beeen reading. Im just ready about women whose milk is low. I am taking fenurgreek, blessed thistle, electric pumping and manual. I would also like my breast to grow also.

What are you asking? You ex husband can't stop a baby from arriving, and if you are pregnant, you won't make milk until after you deliver. Stop taking herbs and supplements as they are not FDA approved and may hurt the baby. Just take your PNV. Why are you pumping before you have the baby?
