You can at least lose 10 lbs by the way I'm doing it by summer or maybe 15 if you push it a bit. Your 'yummy bad meal' would have to be cut in 1/2 at least. Restaurant meals are out- the portion size is way too large for someone who isn't even dieting, or cut it on have and just leave it there. If you take it home you can have the next day but not snack on it in the evening. So unless you want your 2 days of your 'yummy meal' to be the same, just throw it out. It's been too much fun watching myself lose!
GOOD LUCK!!!

I just finished telling someone else about this... I HATE going without. Period. I hate going without my favorite fatty foods! And I refuse too! This includes fried chicken, pizza, chinese, fries, poutine, you name it. What I have started to do is eat much less for breakfast and lunch (and putting more fruit and veg. in my diet that has never before existed and MINIMUM two bottle of water, no matter what.) and for supper- it's a free for all. I have what I want. ANYTHING!!! (Then not much snacking at night, or VERY little or very healthy.)
No counting calories, no effort really, other than 'waiting' until that reward of supper. Or you can switch it to lunch and have something yummy and do a less exciting healthier and smaller supper. This of course means no drive through breakfast or lunch. (Too much carbs., and no veg. unless you get a salad and if that's the case- watch not to drown in dressing or 1/2 the chicken or whatever that is in the salad.)
I'm at home as well. I simply have gotten used to this (in the past two months) and it's worth it to go with less all day because I know that I get a yummy (bad) supper!
I have STEADILY lost week. Slow and steady. I bought a pair of pants two sizes smaller yesterday than I wore 2 months ago. It was a THRILL.
If you lose weight too rapidly from a diet, it never seems to stay off. Slow is the ticket!I have never been a 'dieter' in my life but I've watched may people on diets and they fall off the wagon and just stop dieting b/c they're sick of going without. They lose it quickly then they stop. I am THRILLED watching myself get smaller!!!!
