I was a month pregnant at 18 in the first week of my second month I started bleeding bad and had a miscarrige. I got on the depo shot I only got it 3 times and it was every 3 months. Ive been with my fiance for a little over 2 years. I am now 21 we have been trying and nothing. I've had months to where I've had pregnancy symptoms and my time was out of whack. I use a period tracker app and have been since August 2014. January 2015 I had 2 periods mine only last 4 days. They were on time up until December I went early than usual then 2 in January now Feb It says I'm 12 days late. The 20th I had very light pink spotting/some brown discharge I have gained 9lbs none of my jeans fit, nausea, boobs are sore, lower abdominal pain. I took a test negative. The 21st I was bleeding more and I've had blood clots so then I figured I was on my period. But it's been light medium back to light and its only been 2 days of this. I took another test today the 23rd and it came up negative. So I've been basically treating it as a period. What do you think?

Many things can affect the timing and heaviness of your period. It could be related to stress, what you eat, how much you exercise, how much you weigh, etc. And there are many different reasons why you could experience pregnancy-like symptoms.

Typically, you are most fertile about two weeks before you start your period. Since your periods are irregular, it can be more difficult to know when that sweet spot of opportunity is. You might check with your doctor to see if there's some other cause for your irregular periods and symptoms. You might also see a fertility doctor to verify that you and your fiancé are capable of having children.

If you are able to have kids, my only other advice (only an opinion) would be to wait a while. Get married, enjoy each other for a couple years. Save some money. Then try to have kids.
