Nurofen is ibuprofen, that is nothing more that a pain and fever reducer, calpol has acetaminophen which is doing the same thing, so pick one or the other not both. If you are giving Nurofen plus; first it is not recommended for under 12 months and second it has a stimulant in it and that could cause him not to sleep.

Seriously? Take him to a doctor if you are concerned enough to post for help on an internet forum. And I agree, this medication doesn't exist, unless you spelled it wrong.

Neufion is a thing for flu and colds to clear it away
I haven't took him to doctors or anything but I rang the doctors and they said it could be the flu but what I'm just wondering how come it goes away for a week then week later it comes back

I have never heard of neufion, and when I google it it doesn't come up so could you clarify that word? If your child has been ill with symptoms like the flu 5 times in 2-3 weeks, either he is not fully recovering or something else is going on.
For the stuffy nose you can use a drop or two of saline and a nasal aspirator to remove the mucus. Be gentle and do one side at a time. Also a humidifier right near his bed may help keep the secretions from getting sticky and plugging up his nose. If possible, you can prop up one end of his crib on blocks (just a few inches) then when he lays down his head will be a bit higher and that can help the draining secretions.
What other symptoms does he have: fever, cough, tugging his ears, no appetite?
