Hello, I have a teenage son that was diagnosed with ADHD, a learnind disablity and slight depression. I applied for Iowa SSI and was denied the first time, so I appealed it and was denied again. They said that his disablity doesnt hinder his everyday functions. Mind you that this child has an IEP and is now in the resource classes because of his limitations. I even have the form from the Grantwood area education that assessed him and it states in there that his functions are limited due to a disablityand yet they have still denied him twice. Can anyone give me some pointers here, I, at a loss.

I would try a different spot for the ssi. I really don't know much about it but I wish you tand your child the best of luck.
