Hello, I'm new to this Circle and have a question. I stay home with my/our daughter (she's 2) and since she was born she seems to be sick all the time and our boys (ages 8 and 10) have asthma so I'm on the go all the time. There's really no way I would put her/them into daycare cause I would be having to stay home w/ her of them all the time. So, what I'm getting at is I need to get a job or something that I can make some money at. I do sell Thirtyone and its just not bring in the $ that I/we need. I also have medical problems to where I don't think I could hold a job. If anyone has any ideas on what I could do, I would love to hear from you! Please and Thank you!

I don't often reccomend this but, depending on why she is sick all the time and what your medical problems are you could qualify for Social Security Disability for yourself or your child. My son is now 15 but, when he was in elementary school his ADHD was off the hook even though he was on meds. I tried to work but was constantly getting calls from the school and had to leave causing me to lose many jobs. I then applied and recieved benefits. Once the doctors got him on the right meds I voluntarily left the program and went back to work. Also if you do not qualify as disabled if you qualify for state medicaid you may also qualify for social security supplemental income. it is like getting disablity but the criteria is different. Another option is to go back to school. Perhaps with a degree you could find a job that does not affect your medical problems.
