You definitely should talk with your doctor. It is possible but can be dangerous for someone in their 40's to have children. Your risk of having a child with down syndrome or other disabilities goes way up, along with miscarriages and a lot of other issues.

Talk to your doctor about it and they should be able to refer you to someone and help you out.

If it is not possible for you to be pregnant you could find another person to give birth to a child with your eggs, but that involves a lot of money.

You could also adopt. Adopting through a private agency can also cost a considerable amount of money if you aren't careful though.

Another option would be to adopt through a public agency, but healthy infants are more difficult to adopt through that type of agency. It is possible but it can take a long time.

You could adopt an older child (which is 3 and up,sadly enough). Adopting an 'older' child can be very rewarding although of course it has it's pros and cons.

Although being pregnant or having a child with your genetics is important to a lot of people what's more important is having a family.

I hope some of that is helpful, and good luck to you in whichever option you pursue!
