Your son needs to go to court. If the court orders a DNA test, she can't refuse. He needs to get a lawyer.

Your son needs an attorney. He needs to file with the courts for a mandatory paternity test, as is his right. He needs to RIGHT NOW start proceedings for shared custody, visitation and support. He doesn’t have to wait for “permission” from the child’s mother. He can request these tests on his own and get his legal team together.

You may be able to do it without a lawyer, but if she gets a lawyer you may not get much, but it is likely to be something. It would probably be an idea to at least have a consultation with a lawyer - that may be a little less expensive than retaining one for the entire process.

Have a read through this site. It outlines the cost of filing for a court order.

And below is the link for a Declaration of Parentage

Short of applying for those, there is nothing else you can do. Your son is going to have to work out a way to save to file these.

I'm in UK we can't get help with solicitors fees n we don't earn enough to pay for one. Also can't get legal aid either as they don't allow it for custodial cases. It's all frustrating. Thank you for your comments
