Help...2 yr old fights with brushing her teeth

My 2 yr old DD basically screams and rants when I try to brush her teeth. She doesn't let me do it at all and when I do try, it becomes a wrestling match. Please give me some ideas that you have tried to get them to brush their teeth!!!!!

We let our kids do it all themselves. From getting their tooth brush to picking the toothpaste. (we usually buy their pick and another one mint flavored) We allow them to do everything themselves when brushing their teeth. If you worry about amounts buy one or two of those toothpaste dispensers.
DH and I still had to hold our kids down and do it for them from time to time but they got it pretty quick that it is more fun for them to do it than for us to force them. :)

I let my daughter pick out her own toothbrush and toothpaste. Then she and I would brush together. The main focus for us at first was not the actual brushing but just getting her to want to use the toothbrush.

Lissa is right with all of that, but if all else fails, ignore the noise and just do it with the minimum of trauma possible, knowing that eventually they all grow out of it.
Not fundamentally helpful I know, but my eldest 2 did eventually get their teeth done without being pinned down.
One other thing we did was to "accidentally" brush ears, noses, eyebrows etc until the then giggling child opened their mouth voluntarily just to stop me plastring them with toothpaste!
Good luck

These are all strategies I have used over the years with my three, I hope they help.
Choosing a fun toothbrush, trying a different toothpaste, letting her brush your teeth while you brush hers, singing a tooth brushing song and sticker charts
