Hey everyone I am new to this but just writing because I am in desperate need of any suggestions or anyone that has any kids that have had the same problem. My 6 month old is so pleasant during the day, goes down for naps easily without much of a fuss, puts herself to sleep, and when we initially put her to bed at around 6:30- 6:45p.m. she goes right down as well.(We recently moved her bedtime up wondering if she was overtired?) But about 1 hour after she is asleep she wakes up screaming uncontrollably and no matter we do she does not settle down. I try to nurse her but it doesn't help, I will rock her, I even rock her until she is passed out but as soon as I put her down she cries. I have tried having her cry it out but she will not! She can go as long as 2 hours which is my limit. It usually takes about 3 hours to get her settled down. After that she will usually sleep from about 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.! I don't get it! I am not sure if its teeth? Gas?She just recently got 2 and has been biting and chewing so I assumed teeth.. I have given children's ibuprofen, simethicone, gripe water, teething tables. Nothing seems to work. I am just exhausted especially because my husband works nights. Any suggestions or thoughts would be much appreciated! Thank you very much!
