MOST HELPFUL POSTS

It is totally normal for babies to wake up during the night. Some babies don't start sleeping through the night until 6 or 7 months of age and even then, six hours of sleep is considered sleeping through. At one month old, your baby's belly is very tiny and just not big enough to go all night without food. It is normal for babies to eat every 2-3 hours throughout the day AND night for several months. You shouldn't try to get them on a schedule this early. For now, the baby is the boss and you have to work on their schedule for awhile yet. If he wakes up and is hungry, feed him. He needs all the vitamins, nutrients, and calories he can get from his milk to grow up healthy and strong. I know right now it feels like forever but it is really a short phase in a baby's life and will pass quickly.
