Need some advice so badly, my 3 1/2 year oldson tells me he doesnt like me, he hates meand he wants to go and live with grandma, andto make it worse im 24 and 26weeks pregnant, and im now a single parent again as the unborn babys farther him me and my son. Only the last 3weeks since my partner isnt here has my son started being nasty with words and smacking, kicking and spitting at me as its what he seen my ex partner doing to me, i dont know what to do to make my little boy love me, its breaking me, even considering giving my unborn baby up for adoption because if my son doesnt want or love me why would another child feel any different,

Kids go through things like this and this is normal when living situations change. I am a full time live in nanny to my three nephews 8, 6, and turning 2 (also I have a one year old daughter). The 6 year old went through a horrible phase with his mother before I came into the picture and began to be his nanny. He would hit her, yell at her in public, fight his brother. He would wake up in the middle of the night and when she would try to put him in bed he would curse her the most awful words and hide inside cabinets. He was acting out due to his father being out of the picture. Once he started understanding that mommy wasn't with daddy and it was never going to be like that again his attitude did a complete turn around for the better. He is now graduating kindergarten. Maybe you should look into putting him into early childhood headstart to get him ready for school. Get his mind off things going on with you and partner. Don't give up on him he loves you. He just don't know how to deal with the partner leaving you and doing the things you mentioned. Try talking to him and make him feel like the big boy he is becoming and how much you need him. Let him know you are scared when he says the things he does and how much it hurts you when he does those things. Keep your head up you'll get through this!!
