Hi I took two pregnancy test at home and both said yes.I have been feeling very sick having many pregnancy symptoms. I also missed my period in November. Instead I bleed very lightly not enough to fill a pad on and off. I recently went to the doctor and the internal and external ultrasound and blood test came out I am not pregnant. I had unsafe sex November 18 and lost my virginity in October. I am scared and confused.everyone is saying it is a cyst that ruptured. Then why am I still sick? Is it possible that I am pregnant?

If you had an internal and external US, as well as a blood test and urine test, and your doctor says you are not pregnant, then relax. Unless you had sex in between the time of the exam and now, you can rest easy that you are not pregnant.
Now, I say this with motherly love as well, stop looking on the internet and talking to friends for reasons you could still be pregnant. You are going to make yourself crazy with anxiety and what ifs?
Cryptic pregnancy is a condition in which a pregnant woman is unaware of her pregnancy until reaching labor. Often confused with pseudocyesis; where a woman has no clinical evidence of a pregnancy but experiences pregnancy symptoms and believes she is pregnant beyond all reasoning.
Friend's stories about how she had five US that were all negative until the fifth one when there was a baby are usually varied versions of the truth.
The pregnancy tests you did at home, did you follow the direction exactly? Waiting too long to read the result can cause a false positive reading. How long after the home test did you go to the doctor? Did the doctor do an exam in addition to the US and blood test? If the only positive, objective evidence of the pregnancy are the two tests you did at home, and all other tests were negative then why do you believe otherwise? What symptoms are you having exactly?

Of course it is possible. If you have sex, ANY SEX, and do not use protection, there is a possibility of pregnancy, and your health class most likely covered that, if you'd payed attention.

That being said, if you are a minor, speak with a trusted adult to get help with your options at this point. It will be scary, yes, but you need to be proactive. If you are pregnant, you will have several options. I encourage you to check each thoroughly before making a decision, as this will affect you for the rest of your life.

If you ARE a minor, and feel that you would be in danger by telling your parents, then find another trusted adult. Counselor, pastor, grandparent, aunt/uncle, perhaps.

If you are not a minor...make better choices!

How are you feeling? Did you get any more information as to whether or not you are pregnant?

You have had both types of ultrasounds so I'd pretty much say you're NOT pregnant. All the other people you have been telling us about are just relying on pregnancy tests, you have had the ultrasounds, they are a lot more reliable.
Have the doctors done different tests to see why you are feeling this way? Some women will have pregnancy "symptoms" if they are convinced that they are pregnant, even when they aren't. Talk to your doctor.
Since you have only just become sexually active please use birth control. It's not just to prevent pregnancy but also STI's. You don't want to get a nasty disease.

Are you just nauseous and/or puking sick? I don't know about where you live, but that's going around a lot in the schools where I live right now.

Hang in there! It sounds like you have learned from your 'scare' and that's a good thing. ♥

Hang in there, Nicole. Keep talking with your mom and your doctor. Keep monitoring your symptoms too...

Not sure where you are at, but where I am it is cold/flu season, and sometimes those types of illnesses will make you feel some symptoms that could mimic pregnancy...but usually only the nausea.

You could also ask your school nurse for advice on what questions to be asking

Ok, first, its awesome that you can talk to your mom, and thanks for taking the comment for what it was...Motherly advice. I promise I won't tell you anything I wouldn't say to my own kids!

You've been to the doctor. Does the doctor say that you had a ruptured cyst? If so, then you need to be asking questions if your recovery isn't where they've projected. Actually, ANY time you are going through a medical issue, you need to feel comfortable asking your doctors questions. If they get pissy about answering, then a different doctor is needed, but I digress...

Tell your mom that you'd like to go back to the doctor to have them confirm the cyst diagnosis and see if there is anything else that you could be doing to aid in recovery! And, honey (this is with all the love in the world, by the way...) please be smart. Having unprotected sex can have so many consequences...and I would hate to see a beautiful, intelligent young lady miss out on life because they got a STD have to try to raise a baby while getting your diploma. Sex is awesome with the right guy...make sure he treats you like a queen, and don't stand for any poor treatment, ever!

Let me know how you're doing! You can message me any time.
