help he won't listen!!!!

help i cannot get my 8 year old to listen to me he has down syndrome al he says nup i cant get him to bed unless his 33 year old sister gets him their he only listens to her but i am his mother and i want to be listned to he also has an 11 year old sister and he doesn't listen to her either! and i have bad back and knees so i can't chase him or get him i have tried hitting it doesn't work i have tried timeout it also doesn't work!! he simply runs away and then if i put him in his room he screams and kicks the door and we live in a condo so im afraid the people below us will call the cops help!!!

No, He does not...Sticker charts don't work he does not care.... He prob. doesn't even know what that means...Also i need him to listen to me not the 33 year old and i also need him to listen to the 11 year old.... Firm doesn't work....Also i can't run after him get him... his 11 year old sister has to because of my knees and back and the 33 year old works all day .... :(

Hi . You need to be more firm with him,and try to get routine happening, try to get your 33yr old daughter to help does he have a father in the picture? and what's his behavior at school like and maybe if you could talk to his school they show you that way the handle behavior,but always have your voice in a calm low tone and try find other ways around by talking rotine happening even if you do a chart of his at behavior or a sticker chart everytime he does something encouraging or good reward him and when he miss behaviors take sticker off.I hope this might help you.cheers
