I suffered from very bad dermatitis. I went to an allergist!!! Highly recommend it for anything from skin disorders to asthma & constant ear problems to many other problems. I have had great results with my daughter for various medical problems. There is a really good book called, "it could be allergy & it can be cured" by Dr Phil Alexander (Australia). It changed my life!!! You may be able to google it too.
Good luck.

I have psoriasis. So does my dad. There is no 'cure' for it and it's usually genetic. She should see and allergist, because allergies could be making it worse. Various environmental factors have been suggested as aggravating to psoriasis, including stress, withdrawal of systemic corticosteroid. Try to avoid creams and lotions with cetyl alcohol because it's an irritant. Lotions with lanolin work pretty well. Polysporin, worked great for me when I was a teen, I don't know why I stopped using it. Non-burning sunlight, mineral oil and petroleum jelly can also help. "Some studies suggest psoriasis symptoms can be relieved by changes in diet and lifestyle. Fasting periods, low energy diets and vegetarian diets have improved psoriasis symptoms in some studies, and diets rich in fatty acids from fish oil have also shown beneficial effects. The severity of psoriasis symptoms may also be influenced by lifestyle habits related to alcohol, smoking, weight, sleep, stress and exercise" (from wikipedia)

I agree, have you taken her to an allergist? I would be surprised if a doctor didn't suggest that, if he hasn't, I'd look for new doctor too. ;)
