Hi my name is Natashia, and I am the mother of 6 month g/b twins. I've recently felt a need to reach out to my babies paternal family who all live in Texas. I have never met any of them personally, but I have come to know who they are through facebook. The father of my babies told me recently that he has informed his family about the possibility of him being the father of my twins. I would like for his family to get to know as much about the babies as possible, to be involved even from a distance in their lives, and to be able to see them as they are growing so fast. Although I am certain he is their father we are in the process of determining it because he is not. I feel like time is going by so fast and before we know it my babies will be a year old, and so much time would have been lost. I don't know if I should reach out to them at this point, or If I should wait until we get the results of the test??? What do you think...

I don't even know where to begin, what to say. I want to make a good first impression, and I don't know if sending a message over facebook is the right way to go. I will just go ahead and send a message, what's the worst that could happen? at least I'll know I put forth the effort to bridge the gap. Thanks Amanda

Keep talking to them on facebook, email them and get to know them that way. Then if you are comfortable, send them some pictures once you have got to know them abit better.
There's also the option of texting or a phone call.
