My nieces son was just taken away... because she could not urinate at screening. My niece is the best Mother out there. She adores her son who just turned 5. She is a strong, hard working Christian woman whom got married to a wonderful man a year ago. He treats her son like his own. Well the bio father is a meth head, ex convict. He has 2 charges pending against him now for drugs. He lives in a house with drug dealers. Monday at court, his lawyer said my niece was a drug addict because she could not go to the bathroom during the screening. They gave her water and apparently her specimen was diluted...so the judge granted custody to her mother in law, and said she could not be alone with her son. Their next mediation is in March. this is killing her, she loves him so much, and never has touched drugs. What can we do? The judge is well known for taking kids away from parents, it is all over the internet this judges over zealous accusations. Any advice is appreciated and welcomed.

Dove : yes ma'am, she has never had any drug us. She is a true health nut... she drinks nothing but water and does not even take aspirin for a head ache. I will let her know about trying to get a new judge, that is what I was thinking as well. She has since fired her lawyer and gained new representation.

But I'm not a lawyer and have zero actual experience on drug tests and court.

If she has never done drugs and there is no proof of previous drug use and this is ALL based on one drug test that didn't even have a positive result... it sounds like she needs a new lawyer to request the case be heard by a new judge. She 'should' simply be able to submit a new, clean drug test.
