A couple of days ago I replied to a posting asking if i need money for rent, which I did (still do, even more now.). The individual contacted me by phone stating that he could give me over a thousand dollars so I was excited because I needed over a thousand dollar. So me being naive/ stupid and in desperate need gave him all my information. He had his cousin come pick up my bank card so he can deposit the money. This guy ran off with my card. I had $523 dollars in my account and he cleaned it out and left my account in the negatives. Now I have absolutely no money. The reason I was in need is because I am supposed to move out with my 5 year old daughter next week to a room i was trying to rent and I needed the money to pay the rent. Now i have nothing and i'm worried that my daughter wont have a place to stay. We've been homeless before and a friend took us in but now we have to go so we're going to be homeless again. I am writing this is tears. If anyone could assist us please reply to this email. I can more than prove that my story is true. I am torn. I don't know what else to do.
Please help me.

If your bank is FDIC, you may be able to get back some of your loss. However, since you gave your info voluntarily, you may be out of luck. Call the police and describe the man to whom you gave your card, file a full police report. You need to close all of your accounts and open new ones. What were you thinking? I know, you feel badly about this now and you don't need to get beat up. Think, if it sounds too good to be true, then it is! What did you think was going to happen? You'd get over 1000 dollars and then this person would just move on in life? You know that doesn't make sense.
Now, to get your rent paid; go to your church, the Salvation Army and your local women's crisis shelter and ask for help. Start hitting up your local food pantries and go to as many soup kitchens you can find. Lowering your grocery bill will help put money to another part of your budget. Seek government assistance for housing, food, welfare and insurance. Do you get child support? If no, apply for it and see if you can at least get some money from the father?

Look for a homeless shelter, talk to churches/charities, contact your local DHS office to see what services you may qualify for... they may have emergency housing available.

You JUST trusted some random stranger for money and lost all your money and now you are posting on a world wide site that lists having over 10 million members... Please learn from your first mistake. Get help from actual, legitimate programs... NEVER ask random strangers for money and NEVER give anyone your bank information.

The others are correct. LEARN from your first mistake, or you're going to be making doozies all of your life, putting yourself and your child in perpetual danger.

These ladies are right and also I would take this case to the police and file charges. This person now has access to everything about you and maybe your child.

This is not the place to post this. Learn through your first international website is not the place to be asking for money. You put yourself and your daughter in danger and not just money wise. Talk to local churches and charities.
