I just got her a phone because starts Junior high and I set rules about calling boys or texting boys. I even made her sign a contract and the first week she lost her phone. She was suppose to get it back today after I got home from work but my 14 year old neice sent me a text that my daughter used her kindle app kik to contact my neices ex boyfriend telling him she thinks he is hot. My daughter is 11 and my neice and her ex boyfriend is 14. What should I do... HELP

Have you had a full on conversation about sex, birth control, pregnancy, and stds? If not... start there. Is she involved in a sport or other extra curricular activity? You can't kill the 'boy craziness', but you can arm her with information, work to give her a non boy focus, and do everything in your power to provide her with appropriate adult supervision in and out of the electronic world.

No Dove I havent had that conversation with her yet she is 11 and she thinks you can get pregnant from kissing a boy. I know I need to have this conversation with her. She tried Volleyball, Softball and Dance and lost interest very quickly because she would get discouraged. Some of the girls would be ugly to her cause she didnt p[lay as well as they did. I am starting to play Tennis with her to get her ready for tryouts in the 7th grade she is fixing to be in 6th next week. I do have control of her electronics, we have a rule that at anytime i can look at her phone or kindle. I took her electronics away for two weeks because she broke the texting a boy rule so now I'm the most hated mother... Thank you for your comment it is very helpful.
