My 18-month old daughter is an absolute angel at daycare. they say she gets fussy every now and then but it is rare and she is a little darling most of the time. Nap time, meal time, washing her hands, playing with other kids - they say she never causes any problems.
As soon as she gets home the whining begins - a constant drone that seems to go on no matter what we do. When she gets especially upset - not getting her way or when we take something dangerous away from her - she'll throw herself on the ground and have a complete meltdown. We'll ignore that, and she'll come into whatever room we're in and keep doing it. We can distract her sometimes and involve her in an activity and then she's okay, but only for a short time before it happens again.
I guess the real question I have is - why is she so different home and at daycare? Are we doing something wrong? She really is a good kid overall, but it seems like she saves her moodiness for us. Anybody have the same problem, or have some advice for us? Thanks so much.
