My nearly 5 month old refuses to take the bottle, I've tried breastmilk, different formulas and even different bottles/ teats. He is exclusively breastfed from birth and feeds every two to two half hours. I can't even leave him with my husband to go to the hairdressers or dentist etc. I have also just started trying him with a little bit if solids baby rice and he refuses that as well. Any suggestions/ ideas please???

Just keep at it. Its because its not what he's used to. Eventually he will except. Sometimes its the taste of the rubber on a new teat (my daughter hated it when i brought new teats) The same with solids. Make them extra runny to begin with & see if it helps. If it continues try talking to yr midwife or health visitor maybe they can help

good luck xx
