I'm still breastfeeding and my 8 month old twins still won't sleep through the night. I've read the book " 12 hours of sleep by 12 weeks" and it helped me get my boys on a feeding and nap schedule during the day but no luck during the night. My husband travels frequently so I'm pretty much a "single" mommy majority of the time. Our 3 1/2 year old boy only recently started sleeping better through the night. I'm exhausted and I seriously don't want to have to wait until the twins are 3 before they sleep through the night like their older brother. My heart can't handle the "cry it out" method. I couldn't do it with our oldest so I really don't think I could do it with the babies either. Plus we have the twins sharing a room right now so I would assume if I let them cry one would certainly wake the other. I could appreciate any suggestions!

Hi Gina,

The method I used was bath, bottle and bed. I'd bathe my son at the same time every night, lotion him up from head to toe: like a massage through out his entire body ( once i got to his feet he was fast asleep. I'd have a warm bottle ready with baby food and milk inside so, he would be very full. I hope this help. All the best of luck, Barbie :)
