What is your child doing and what have you done about it? Different actions tend to require different consequences and it can take a lot of time and repetition to work... and still some kids will keep trying to push your buttons and do what they know they are not allowed to do... because they are kids. It doesn't necessarily mean that your discipline doesn't work. Raising kids is a process and the lessons they learn now may not always be evident until adulthood.

Consistency is key. Also, if you are married for you and your spouse to be on the same page with the discipline.
We tried to take the emotion out of the discipline as well as hasty response. There were natural consequences for infractions and bad behavior. Our kids had to pay those consequences, those consequences actually became the "bad guy". Try to lower your voice, be consistent and have real consequences that fit the behavior. I hope it works out Mama.
