I need help I don't know what to do. My four year little girl is having nightmares. Our bed time routine is we read a book and I tuck her in. She sleeps with a night light. But heres the thing not even in a hour after she sleeps she "wakes ups" crying. Sometimes she standing on her bed or on the ground or she comes in my room and stands next to my bed crying. I try to talk to her and she stops staring at me and just looks at me and when I talk to her he mumbles back. Then she just falls right back to sleep after I pick her up and lay her down. Some nights it happens more then once. Most was three times.

I thought it was bad sprits(I believe in that) so before bed Ill pray with her. We not very religious but I know if you believe in the prayer it will help... But it didnt. So I heard you have atourity over the sprits and say your unwanted. I tried that.. Didn't work. I've also tried to talk to her before she sleeps to think of happy stuff so she can dream of happy things. Some nights that works but not all the time.

I would love some advice from other mothers out there. I don't know what I can do for my baby. I think I'm going to call her doctor... But I'm afraid to hear there's nothing to be done. I want to help get a full peaceful goodnight rest.

Thank you,

Get her a dream catcher and hang it in her window tell her it lets the bad dreams float out the window and catches the good ones to help her sleep. This is what I did for my son and it worked. I would say the fact that she responded to you that these are simply nightmares so you need to talk to her and see what is bothering her once she gets it out they should stop
