My 5 month old will ONLY sleep on the left side of his head. The doctor has mentioned his head being flat on that side. I do not know how to correct this since no matter what we do he ends up on the left. Any advise is greatly appreciated. :-)

Thanks Sarah! We actually just changed his room around the other day and I have tried putting him in his crib with his head at either end and he still seems to go to the left. Feeding is tough because I nurse but I will definitely try to keep him snuggled the other way. Just hard because I am a lefty so it is more comfortable to snuggle him on my right and use my left hand LOL. I have seen things on amazon to help but it is like a helmet and I feel like that would be so uncomfortable to wear :-/

When you feed him hold him so the right side of his head is closes to you. Also if you rock him or hold him in the cuddle position have that right side of his head closes to you. Another tip my doc once said to me is that sometimes kids will turn towards the light in their room.....so if flip his bed to the opposite side of the room so he has to turn on his right side to be towards the light. Some kids do just have a side they prefer too, so flipping the bed is worth a try but may or may not work.
