My ex is insisting I deal with his girlfriend for issues relating to our children. They have been living together for a year. They met 3 months prior to her moving in. She takes over parent teacher interviews. She bullies me in person. She introduces herself to others as their mom. She has her own kids, 3 each from a different father. She is emailing me and questioning our joint custody agreement and trying to become a legal guardian. I just want this to stop..... I'm very happy my ex found someone, we were actually friends for almost 2 years after we broke up... Until her. any advice is welcome!

Legally speaking, she can not become a guardian unless you both agree to it. But since you are both still in the picture, she has no leg to stand on. SHe legally is not supposed to be going to teacher conferences, introducing herself as step mom when she is just a GF, she has no business interfering with your custody agreements and whatever else is going on with your kids, your ex and you. He can not insist she be involved in those issues at all. You need to remind him that the custody is between the two of you not her too. THere is no legal backing for that.
