My 5th grade son has NLD with dysgraphia. He's an articulate little professor with a debilitating learning disability -- that isn't taken seriously because he's smart. His written expression is at about a kindergarten level. As he's getting older, writing requirements have become a part of every subject and he can't keep up. Please, share what has worked for you. We need ideas, books, programs, websites...anything to help him succeed with self-esteem in tact. Any success stories? What kind of program works? Which services should I look for? Is one type of school better than another? My former honor roll student is flunking out. We need help.
