oh poor little mite. Think about when you have a cold, your nose is blocked and you're breathing through your mouth all the time plus your throat is sore so you're also constantly swallowing. This causes you to swallow air giving you stomach ache. If this what is happening to your child then are you really surprised she doesn't want to eat?
Make sure she has plenty of milk so she's getting her nutrition and water so she's getting her fluids. I find some baby paracetamol and vapour rub melted in a bath helps before bed. Her appetite will improve in a couple of days. I know it's horrible when they're ill, you feel so helpless

Popsicles. popsicles popsicles, me and my son has been sick for a while and he also has been refusing to eat solids. I also gave him apple sauce bananas just the softest food u have... the baby can also be teething and all of that will work plus benadryl and motrin

This could also be teething as the molars can come through at this age. The gums are really sore and feel red hot. Try giving finger foods like cucmber and refridgerated carrot as this cools the gums also yoghurt seems to be a favourite. All you can give for the cold is regular calpol or junifen and use karvol capsules to help the baby breath easier whilst sleeping. I know you feel so very helpless for your youngster. Lots of fluids should hel to. Hope she feels better soon.

just keep her warm and comfortable, as long as she want to have milk thats good, the sucking is calming because she may be in pain. like a headache or achy body, if your really worried take her to the doc :)
p.s. give her lots of huggs and kissed

Yes, it is normal for a baby to refuse to eat when sick. Make sure that she has some fluid intake i.e. pedilite. Make sure to she sleeps propped up. You may want to run the shower (warm/hot water) then take her into the room and sit there. This will help with congestion.

It is normal for children to show less interest in solids while they are sick. You could try a steam shower to help loosen the mucus build up. Just turn the shower on and close the door and stand in the bathroom for about 10 minutes at a time. You can do this several times a day until she feels better. You could also us a humidifier in her room at night. If she seems like she's in a ton of discomfort you can give her Tylenol as well, but check with your doctor about the proper dosage. I hope that she gets to feeling better soon! :)
