Help...Stopping bfing at 9 1/2 months

My lo stopped nursing abruptly about a month ago, from that point we went to only bedtime feedings and through the night feedings. I was ok with it, but also very depressed about it. This week he stopped nursing completely. I was devastated. But I'm gonna be ok. I just want some reassurance that I'm not being a bad mom for this. He stopped, I kept trying and trying. He would cry and cry and then he started biting. It hurt so bad I couldn't do it anymore. Now I've cut my pumping sessions down and am going to completely stop pumping very soon. Thanks for your time. It feels good to vent.

Dont feel like a bad mom about it. he doesn't want the breast anymore. some moms have problems weaning their baby off the breast so you are one step ahead. I wouldn't cut down on the pumping and giving your lo breast milk until he is at least a year. its great for his body and immune system and its good foe your body as well. keep up the pumping and just put it in a bottle for him.
