Help! Why is my little bunch of fun turning into a crankybutt in the evening?

I have an 8 almost 9 month old baby girl. She has been absolutely perfect until almost a week ago she's been getting inconsolably cranky from 6-9 (her bedtime). She has plenty of sleep during the day, is fed and bathed. We have tried putting her to bed early to see if she may just be ready to hit the hay, and she does NOT like that one bit. I've tried rocking her to sleep, everything. Please help!

You know, when they can't find anything, they always peg it on teething or growth spurt. :-)

I am hoping it is a phase that will pass soon.

Talk to your doc.

I was going to call her doctor tomorrow if I didn't get any tips on here. I was just thinking it was maybe a phase or something.

Lol she's a big time sleep fighter, but you always know when she's tired and she doesn't act tired at all till about 15-20 min before bed then she's easy! Daddy and I both put her to bed but sometimes we try putting her in our bed for a nap bc she will sleep there without fussing but still doesn't want to sleep till bedtime with this recent fussiness.

Did you speak to your doctor about it? Since the time period is one just before her sleep time, maybe she is resisting sleep? Who does the sleeping duty? Maybe her daddy can try to take over the sleeping bit for a while?

She's already been through colic and it's nothing like that at all. Can't be separation anxiety either I hold her, sit with her, everything. Nothing really helps.
