Help with choosing shoes for toddler soccer?

My 3 year old will be starting his first soccer class in a few days. Any experience with what shoes will be best for him to wear? No cleats allowed, it's an indoor tiny tot soccer program.

We only have the velcro shoes for him, and they're find when he goes to open gym or the play ground.....but I'm worried they'd slip off during soccer. Then I worry if I get some shoes with laces, the lace will come untied and he'll trip. I managed to get everything else on the list, but for some reason I'm really worried about the shoes!

Anyone have any experience on what would work the best?

I'm new to the whole sports thing, the only equipment he ever needed for an activity before this was socks.....and soccer socks weren't even on the list for this class (lol but I bought some anyway, because I was wondering how to use shin guards without tall socks)
