To the responder: Having OP leave any contact information on this site, online, for all to see is against site rules.
To the OP: I am sorry for your difficulties this year.
If you are in dire straits, the internet is not the place to solicit help. You need to go to public agencies in your direct area, of which there should be plenty. also contact churches, etc.
We are not your resource for making your kids' christmas grand. If you don't have the money, you don't have it. Plenty of years my kids have gotten (and given) handmade gifts only, due to our budget constraints. After all, Christmas isn't about how much we can get, or how expensive it is, but how much we can DO, and be with family.

I agree with Shawnn, Christmas is what you make it and should be a time for being with family.
You should ask at your local charities and churches if you are truly in need of basics like food. Other than that, you make do with what you have.
