Ok, so I'm at my wits end! I never minded getting up and nursing my son back to sleep but it's starting to take a toll on me. My now 9 mo old wants to wake up every 2 hours to eat and I can get any sleep! It's physically taking a toll on my mind and body. So as a last resort I'm trying to cry it out. I know he's well old enough to sleep through the night without feeding. So here's my questions
1) they suggest going in to reassure him. This is my biggest problem if I go into our room and let my presence be know then leave he will go into a full fledged tantrum. I'm talking screaming banging on the walls to the point where it sounds like he's hyperventilating. I feel as if checking on him makes the matter worse. So what should I do?
Second problem
2) am I supposed to let him cry it out every single time he wakes up throughout the night? Which is a total of 3-4 times? How will I ever sleep.
I understand some of your are against this method, if you are please leave your comments to yourself ! Raise your children however you like, and I'll do the same with mine!

I wish I can blame this on a growth spurt but this has been going onward of 2 1/2 months now. He's always had a big appetite but this is exhausting.

my children went through growth spurts at 3,6, and 9 months. They wanted fed every hour for about two days straight. Then it leveled off after two days. They would sprout two or three inches overnight it seemed like. Maybe that is all it is.
