My 2 1/2 year old daughter was sleeping and woke up in the middle of the night crying and crying and I ran into her room and she was freaking out saying 'no no no' and got out of her bed. She was shaking and very scared. I picked her up and she refused to go back into her bed. I brought her into my bed and she started crying and saying 'no no no' and wanted down to leave the room.

She ran to the door of my apartment and tried to get out yelling to go to her Nanny's house..............and here we are now at my mother's house and she is still terrified. She is laying down with my mother staring at nothing and I am really bothered by this.

What can I do to make her calm and want to sleep in a bed?

She was wide awake so I know it isn't a night terror.

Any advice would be greatfully appreciated

Did u ask her what she was saying 'no,no,no' for? If so what was it? Maybe tell her thats nothings there that her room is a safe place where she should feel happy in,my neohew is two and he did this not long ago when my sister (his mum) asked him what he saw he said he saw a monster (was almost definitly just his imagination or a shadow) maybe buy her a night light and telk her that nothing is going to hurt her give her a cuddly toy to sleep with maybe even a fisher peice light up sea horse (i know its for little babys, but my niece has one it gives them something to cuddle and sings plays a lullaby that drowns out other noises, tell her mummys not far from her and maybe leave her door open so she can hear u and your husbands voice or the tv as im sure yous sre still awake while shes in bed, reeasure her shes safe and nothing will happy.
