I had one but not while I was pregnant. I can not imagine how you are coping, it was one of the most painful and uncomfortable things I have experienced in my life! I had the surgery to have it removed which offered relief but there is a recovery period to the surgery. Not only that the preparation for the surgery isn't pleasant, and I was put under in order to have the surgery which would probably cause complications to you and your little one. I honestly don't know what the chances of it bursting are you should really talk to your doctor. I know l had an epideral with both my kids and couldn't feel anything during delivery. I wish you the best, and hope you get some relief soon!

I have not had any experience of this but i strongly advise you to seek expert advice from a midwife or gyne to put your mind at rest. They have delivered people who have had this before therefore they are the best people to be guided by. If the pain is to much then go and get something a bit stronger or try something new. Good luck your nearly there!

I'm 37 weeks, too and I can't imagine the pain and discomfort you're in right now. I hope things work out okay for you. I honestly can't give you any advice on this, though. *hugs* Good luck on your birth, Mom!
