If you REALLY want to be a great mom, stop trying to give the child everything she wants.

Provide for her NEEDS, with some specials thrown in. Be WITH her. Spend time with her, interact, take her on outings (the park, etc) MONEY is not needed to be a good parent. Time, patience, love, discipline. These are what make a good parent.

Two of these ladies I have posted along side of for quite some time: Shawnn and Dove. They both are right. Giving the child all they want only begets the behavoir of running the home and running you over...take their advice.

Stop trying to make her happy all the time and don't forget to take care of yourself also.

Buying her everything she asks for is not how you be a good mom. Giving her everything she NEEDS is important, but you do not have to give her everything she wants. Being told 'no' is good for a child. If you can't afford it... don't knock yourself out to get it. She'll get over it.
