Jordanna, I think it's normal that children go through these phases. As long as he's eating something and you are continuing to offer nutritious food, that's the main thing. I wouldn't feel tempted to get side tracked onto Pediasure or any of those supplement drinks, because kids tend not to want anything else once they drink those.

My 3 year old wants to eat nothing but macaroni and cheese at the moment, heh, so I sympathise!

Bianca: when you are on the main page for Welcome to Circle of Moms, you can put the title of your question into the box where it says Start A Conversation, then press continue. You can add more details at that point, so don't type everything into the question box!

Bianca, you should post a new subject rather than adding this to Jordanna's thread for her question: unless of course you did that and the board did something weird with your post!

That said, you should really think twice about putting your email address and phone number into the public domain so easily. At the very least you should restrict such information to private messages. Anything you post anywhere on the internet should be something that you consider henceforth to be completely and publicly available, even to people whom you might wish not to have the information.

My son does the same thing. All children do, especially at that age. Sometimes they just don't want to eat, and sometimes they'll eat all of their meals. As long as he's taking a few bites, I think it's okay. A child won't starve themselves, they'll let you know somehow if they're hungry. Maybe he doesn't like some of the food you're giving him, also.
I try to give my son different foods but he still prefers macaroni and cheese over anything else! It's difficult to get them to eat what you want and when you want them to. But if you think it's a big concern you should call his doctor.
