Hi ALL, I turn 35 in April, I have two daughter from a previous relationship and they are 14 and 11 yrs. My current partner and I have been rying to conceive for seven months now, I had a IUD (mariner) prior, since it was taken out eight months ago in this time I have had three miscarrages
First of all, I really don't think your body will reject a baby based on the sex of the child.
I think this is an issue you should definitely speak to your doctor about because only they will be able to give you something concrete. However, on this site you will definitely find support and maybe even some stories similar to yours. I tried to get pregnant for years and finally gave up. Then when I was 35 I became pregnant with my one and only child. If you've already had two kids, then you know your body is capable. 3 miscarriages in 8 months seems like a lot. Every time I miscarried I was told to give my body time before trying again. And by time, they meant at least 3-6 months. It's possible that you tried too soon but that's just my opinion. I'm so sorry for your losses and hope you are able to successfully concieve :)

I had the IUD in for 4months, but I had one in prior to that one for about four years.
I didnt realize that your body could reject a pregnency based on the sex of the baby. I hope that isnt the case with me as I was hoping for a bot but at this point I will settle for just a healthy baby of any sex!!!
I have started to take Maca powder and bee pollen as I was told that they balance hormones and just for general health.
I feel like I am going crazy because my body is almost craving a pregnancy and its all I can think about. Does anyone have any other suggestions on natural things I can take to help me conceive and continue a healthy pregnancy?

Since you have already given birth to two healthy girls perhaps you are like my friend and cannot carry a boy to full term. She tried for a few years to get pregnant and only the girl fetus's survived whenever she had a boy her bought fought it and treated it like it was a parasite and got rid of it. So keep your chin up and keep trying. Hopefully you won't miscarry again.
