no he is too little for cereal. When he is done eating do you burp? You can also add another ounce or two of milk to his feedings. Cereal should not be introduced until 4-6 months. Their stomachs are too little and not developed enough until that age. Also formula or breastmilk has the nutrients they need at this time. Cereal will take away from him getting all that he needs to have proper brain development.

I am going through this right now my self. My little one's doctor told us to try soy formula with probionic and DHA rice cereal, burp every 2 oz, and feed him with him at an angle and prop him up a little when he sleeps. We give him the cereal at every feeding and it has been working great for us. We went through so many different kinds of formula's, the similac sensitive, similac spit-up, all the enfimils, and the similac soy is great. I hope this helps, and I would always double check with your doc just to be safe.

He's on baby gaviscon coz we think he's got reflux. Was putting it in every feed at first then only morning and night feed. Maybe best to do every feed again.

I would check with your doc. There might be some other issue going on. Milk allergy or acid reflux or just change in medication or dosage. You can also add another ounce or two to his feedings and see if that helps.

Yeah we wind him and he's fine most of the time.
We give him Infacol before feeds and that helps.
